 Said with a tear in my eye, Paris is the girl that started it all and continues to be the Matriarch for Dal's Alley and she will forever hold a large and special place in our hearts! 

 As a brand new breeder looking for my first opportunity to make a positive mark on the breed and a perfectly healthy and happy pedigree option made obvious to me through Paris, I settled on this special girl to be that first dog that I would begin it all at Dal's Alley and she has certainly thanked us by gifting her offspring with birth marks of great health and even greater dispositions, drive, and absolutely gorgeous movement.  

 Her original owner's (Tim and Marion) were trusting enough to allow Paris's  first litter to be experienced with me and to support and and be present in my new vision... and out of  a total of 2 beautiful litters, she has not dissappointed me with puppies that have made HUGE marks on the breed with wins that include lifetime Dalmatian Club of America's achievements of Best in Futurity (Sicily-2017) and Best of Winners (Ragnar-2018).  Excitingly, there's still a few of her offspring shining in the ring today and even a few more shining in performance events like Rally, Agility, Scent Work, Fast Cat etc (Pacino, Archer, Cricket, Fetti, Prada from the Sicilian Mobsters and Moonshiners litters). 

 In our home, the "Paris Personality" is evident in each of her kids and grandkids and from the tenacity to the bossy, when we recognize it, we can't help but smile.

 Sadly, Paris lost her original human owners Tim and Marion which was a large blow to Paris and to all of us who knew and loved them but before they left us, a promise was made that Paris would never want for a happy home and would always have a place with us.  Paris now lives permantenly  here in our home (and oddly, it feels like she always has) with her brother Coster, her daughters Sicily and Cricket, her son Pacino, her grandaughters Wallenda and Circa and grandsons Hugo  and Carnegie.   In our home, we are so elated that the "Paris Personality" is evident in each of her kids and grandkids.

Paris seems to be enjoying retirement and has gone on to add a title at the end of her name in FAST CAT and Greg and I feel blessed to to wake up with her under our arms every day and to relish in the moments, when we can still find opportunities to introduce her to more new things.

 Well what can I say, THINGS GOT REAL with (Salty) Sicily!  For most of her life, she answers more naturally to the name "Sicily-No" than to her actual name "Sicily"

Sicily's story is that of the Universe at Work for sure, as she was set to be sold into a Show Home at 9 weeks of age but when that home (and then one or two more after that) fell through, Greg and I agreed that it was obvious that she was meant to live her life with us,  and from there, whether it was her secret plan from the beginning or not, Sicily became the absolute apple of my husband Greg's eye and solid proof that she new better than anyone else as to where her future would lie (with us that is), and that "all good things happen for a reason".  

Sicily continues to take great pleasure in getting exactly what she wants (off the kitchen counter as well as in life) challenging and out-thinking me at just about everything...and in spite of my occasional frustration,  I thank her everyday for making me a better exhibitor, a better trainer and a better, more patient person.

Sicily is the Dam of the (Noah x Sicily) litter the Dal's Alley "Big Tops" and the VaudeVillians Litter (Jester x Sicily) and proudly has 8 conformation Champions out of these two litters.  We have been thrilled to watch these puppies in Conformation, Performance, and as loyal family members.

One of Sicily's biggest accomplishments was winning the Dalmatain Club of America's Best in Futurity title but has since gone on to add a Grand Championship Silver title in front of her name along with Scent Work, Fast Cat, Lure Coursing, Rally and Agility titles behind her name.

 Oh Cricket!  We thought things hit the fan with Sicily but we had NO IDEA!  Circket is super-model beautiful with her mother Paris's signature inherited way of verbalizing (barking) exactly what she wants at all times and all with a mind that never stops scanning for things to get into or to get in the middle of...always glued to my side unless she is getting into trouble!

On the flip-side, Cricket was also lucky enough to be stamped with her her mother and  father's sweet disposition with life being all about fun!   Cricket finished her Championship easily in just a few shows with Breed wins from the classes and has gone on to garner multiple Best In Specialty wins and the attention of most judges.  Cricket took the year of 2023 off to embark on her next great adventure and that is to be a mom herself.  We can't wait to meet her babies!

 Wallenda (from the Dal's Alley "Big Tops" (Noah x Sicily litter) was the puppy inside Sicily that became Greg's before she was ever born into the world.  Greg told Sicily every evening while he stroked her belly that there was a liver puppy girl inside that was JUST LIKE HER...well, shockingly, there was just one and she became "Wallenda"!

 With her grandmother "Paris" and mother "Sicily's" drive, tenacity and willingness to try anything, we can only imagine what the next few years has in store for us and Wallenda!  Over the next couple of years, we pray that we will meet her future offspring but for now Wallenda is happy to busy herself with Agility and FAST CAT.

 "Circa" (also from the Dal's Alley "Big Tops" (Noah x Sicily litter), was yet another testiment to the saying that "everything happens for a reason",   From almost the day Circa was born, because of her striking beauty and ability to be photogenic, she was the puppy that people were immediatley drawn to, and while she is extremely smart and quitely calculated, she also exhibits a poise and "old soul" personality unlike any other puppy in our home.

 Originally sold into a show home in another state, after just about a week, "Circa" was brought back to her Dal's Alley home when we could see problems on the horizon with her new owner. At that point, only the best would do for this strikingly beautiful girl and so the rest is history as she made her official re-entry into the Dal's Alley forever family.  Circa was also number three in the litter where Greg and I were crazy enough to keep three! (Youn only live once!)

 Circa has gone on to check the Conformation "Championship" box off of her list and while she continues to step into the ring here and there, she is now embarking on producing her future offspring while playing in FAST CAT and Obedience where no challenge is a bad challenge for her!
